Shotokan Karate-do International Federation (SKIF) was founded by by Kancho Hirokazu Kanazawa in 1978 and is headquarted in Tokyo, Japan. SKIF is headed by Kancho Hirokazu Kanazawa who is a 10th dan in the Shotokan Karate style. In 1978, Kancho Kanazawa formed the Shotokan Karate-do International Federation (SKIF), which he is still the president and supreme instructor. Today, there are over 2.4 million students in 106 countries who are a part of SKIF.
